Futures Literacies in Praxis (theory in action)
Futures literacy is the art of reading the room, reading the moment, and writing a future you want to wake up to.
This is for you. What you learn about yourself will change what you bring to your classroom, but this process is for you. To meet your future self, as you navigate a world that keeps changing underneath your feet.
Built from 545 contributions by 170 educators across two healing-centered gatherings. Debuted at the 2025 International Healing-Centered Education Conference.
The world we're being asked to prepare students for keeps morphing faster than our nervous systems, and the systems built to support us, were ever designed to handle.

"You are not broken. Neither is the system. It is working exactly as it was designed. You, however, are paying attention. That's why you're here."

What gets shared in the room is held in the room. What shifts in you travels with you everywhere.
You begin with yourself (Me-Search), then bring it to a partner (We-Search), then to the group (Re-Search). Solo reflection before dyad exchange before collective sense-making. Every session, every time.
The play is the point.
You are not here to produce. You are not here to perform. You are here to practice. The pace is the practice. You are invited to play. 🛝
